Registration for Ware Academys preschool programs are now open for 3 and 4-year-olds enrolling in the 2013-2014 school year.
Ware Academy, an independent school founded in 1949 and located just one mile from Gloucester, Va.s historic Main Street district, offers education for 3-year-olds enrolled in preschool studies through eighth grade.
Half and full day preschool programs are available.
Preschool at Ware Academy includes a structure curriculum, Spanish, dance, physical education, hands on learning experiences and art classes.
Students must be 3 or 4-years-old by Sept. 30 and be fully potty trained.

I encourage parents to schedule a visit and take a tour of the school, even in the summer, James said. Bring the little ones. Let them see the classrooms, play on the playground and get a feel for their first school before their first day arrives.

The admission packet includes an application form, $ 75 non-refundable application fee, copy of the applicants birth certificate and a completed parent questionnaire form.
Admission season remains open for all other grades, James said. Students applying to kindergarten through eighth grade will be assessed in math, writing and reading and receive appropriate academic placement.
Financial aid is also available. Scholarships are also often offered to new and returning students. Current parents who refer a new family to Ware Academy can earn credit toward their tuition.

Located one mile from Main Street in Gloucesters historic Courthouse district, Ware Academy is a Pre-Kindergarten through Eighth Grade independent school.
